SUAMPRIPAD today hosted a two-day educational exhibition themed around scientific miracles in the Quran at the school multipurpose hall.
An array of colorful and spectacular models and charts were prepared on different topics in the light of the Qur’an like creation of the universe, the spherical shape of the earth, the big bang theory, embryology, astronomy, alcoholism, drugs, underwater volcanoes, circular motion, medicine and prayers, among others.
The exhibition entitled “The Miracles of Al-Quran and Science” was officially launched by Ustazah Hjh Rusita Hj Yahya, the Acting Director of the Islamic Studies Department.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a welcoming address by SUAMPRIPAD principal, Ustazah Hjh Rusidah Hj Talip.
She said that the objectives of the program were to inculcate students’ interest in Al-Quran and Science subjects as well as to develop positive attitude, skills and creativity. Additionally, the exhibition also aimed to give a wider prospect to knowledge and education and highlight the connection between religion and science.
