A group of 20 male and 65 female teachers of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School (SUAMPRIPAD) participated in a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony at the school’s surau.
The ceremony began with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Vice-Principal (Academic) Ustazah Sarimah binti Ahmad. This was followed by the mass reading of verses of Al-Quran by the Khatam participants.
The congregation then performed the mass tahlil recital. Doa prayers were led by Ustaz Zul Izzi Awg Tengah and Ustaz Hj Azizul Ihsani Hj Awg Mohidi.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of ‘bunga telor’ and certificates by the vice-principal to the Khatam participants.
