Nurturing good family and noble values among youths amid rapid modernisation and changes in lifestyle is a major challenge. A collective effort from all sectors of society is needed to achieve this goal.

To address the various social problems in our midst, the Career Guidance and Counselling Section, Ministry of Education, hosted a two-day educational programme entitled ‘Sinar Forum’ at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School (SUAMPRIPAD).

Carrying the theme “Remaja Sihat, Negara Berkat”, it featured presentations by representatives from various government agencies including the Health Promotion Centre, Islamic Dakwah Centre, Community Development Department, Adat Istiadat Negara Deparment, Narcotics Control Bureau, Internal Security Department, Royal Brunei Police Force and Prisons Department.

The event was attended by some 220 participants, which included religious officers, teachers and Year 7 students.
